JOHN “MATT” HURDLE
Matt has been a draftsman and planning specialist on the Outer Banks and northeastern North Carolina since graduating from East Carolina University in 1996. An integral component of our system, Matt honed his drafting skills by hand with pen and paper, but is now on the forefront of computer technology and CAD. In addition to engineering, survey and environmental drafting design skills, he has an understanding of zoning and other government regulations related to land development which allow him to produce quality and realistic land plans for residential and commercial tracts. Behind the scenes, Matt is our network guru and administrator- providing organization, speed and reliability to our computer network.
Matt, his wife and three children reside in Perquimans County, where they are active members of their church. When not coaching his children’s softball teams, playing softball or biking with his wife (or any time during deer season), he is most likely hunting, shooting or scouting.
